Featuring free Wi-Fi and a rooftop terrace, the 3-star OYO Hostel Dongdaemun1 is located in Seoul, just a 10-minute walk from Changdeokgung Palace and Gyeongbokgung Palace. The hostel includes 27 cosy rooms with air conditioning.

Situated only a 3-minute stroll from Jongno5ga Station (Line 1) and the Airport Bus Stop (Bus 6002), it also lies within easy walking distance of Cheonggyecheon Stream, Jongmyo Royal Shrine, KwangJang Market-all about five minutes away-and shopping options at Dongdaemun. Korean and international restaurants, pubs, as well as karaoke clubs can be reached within ten minutes on foot.

Rooms are simply furnished featuring individually controlled air conditioning, flat-screen TVs with cable and satellite channels, work desks and synthetic non-feather pillows. Staff remained consistently friendly and attentive throughout the stay, frequently checking on guests’ comfort. The location was convenient, situated near subway stations, bus stops, and a popular street food market in a calm area close to two palaces. Rooms were clean and comfortable with essential amenities including a fridge and spacious bathroom. Breakfast offered simple options such as toast, spreads, cereals, juices, milk, coffee, and tea served on the rooftop with pleasant views. An affordable laundry service was also available onsite.
