Host Mimi was exceptionally warm and friendly, lending traditional hanbok to wear and letting us try Korean musical instruments while taking family photos in hanbok with the house as a backdrop. The breakfast was homemade and rich, served by Mimi who also explained local culture and helped with recommendations. The hanok was comfortable during hot days and chilly nights, located about 20 minutes by bus from the nearest metro station followed by a short walk, set in a quiet area close to temples and a café with views from the Hanok Museum rooftop.
